Junella Hettig | Director

Having started Hairdressing in Auckland, NZ at 15 years old. Junella attended the renowned Serville’s Academy in Auckland.  After working with Servilles throughout her training, Junella then took the opportunity to join NZ’s largest salon group Rodney Wayne and then she settled at Maelstrom Hairdressing. It was during this time working with exceptionally dedicated hairstylists, who continued to inspire, teach and motivate her Junella realized her true passion for hairdressing.

In 2008 she moved to Brisbane after her 3rd child. Junella was excited to be offered a position with world renowned hairdressing company Toni & Guy in their Fortitude Valley (Emporium) salon.

“This was an amazing opportunity to start from the bottom and go through 6 weeks of intensive training, learning and perfecting each haircut. It was a completely different way of hairdressing than I had previously experienced, but I gained and learnt so much.’  Whilst at Toni & Guy, Junella was promoted throughout their internal levels to become the Salon Art Director, the most senior level within a Toni & Guy salon. This saw her become responsible for all in-salon training and quality control. During this time she built an incredibly loyal clientelle through her incredible skill set and ability to listen and build relationships with her clients. After 7 years Junella decided to join the Revolution team and work with Andre & Sandra Faiva who she had previously worked with at Toni &Guy.
