Andre has worked with Australia’s leading photographers to build a fantastic photographic portfolio of work, which has resulted in a number of industry awards. He was awarded 2014 Queensland Hairdresser of the Year in the Australian Hair Fashion Awards, and has also been a subsequent finalist in both the Queensland Hairdresser of the Year category and Australian Creative Colourist category. He won the Queensland State Wella Trend vision and has been published in Australian Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Highlights Magazine, Noise, Culture, Australian Hairdressers Journal, International Hairdressers Journal, UK Hair Flair, New Zealand Images Magazine, Headway, and the annual Toni & Guy collection books.

Andre takes great responsibility in educating the next generation of hairdressers, and has been involved in the National Ignite the Passion Tour for TAFE hairdressing courses and private hairdressing colleges. He is also an educator and National Ambassador for Wella’s EIMI styling range.

Niquita Miller-Hayes Technical Director

Originally from the beautiful wine reign of Nelson in New Zealand, Niquita started her apprenticeship at Toni & Guy Auckland in 2007 before transferring to Toni & Guy Edward Street in Brisbane. Working under Andre and Sandra, she completed her apprenticeship and chose to specialise in colour.

Niquita was named the Young Talent State Winner by the Wella Trendvision, the largest colour competition in the world. After completing her intensive colour training and working as a colour technician at Toni & Guy, Niquita moved to the Oscar Oscar salons in 2010, where she started as a colour technician and worked her way up to Technical Director. When the opportunity arose to work with Sandra and Andre again, Niquita jumped at the chance. Having worked mainly as a colourist, they offered her the opportunity to refresh her styling and cutting skills after years of specialising.

Niquita has already had a great chance to show up her styling skills when asked to work alongside Kevin Murphy himself for his recent show in Brisbane.
