Originally from the beautiful wine reign of Nelson in New Zealand, Niquita started her apprenticeship at Toni & Guy Auckland in 2007 before transferring to Toni & Guy Edward Street in Brisbane. Working under Andre and Sandra, she completed her apprenticeship and chose to specialise in colour.

Niquita was named the Young Talent State Winner by the Wella Trendvision, the largest colour competition in the world. After completing her intensive colour training and working as a colour technician at Toni & Guy, Niquita moved to the Oscar Oscar salons in 2010, where she started as a colour technician and worked her way up to Technical Director. When the opportunity arose to work with Sandra and Andre again, Niquita jumped at the chance. Having worked mainly as a colourist, they offered her the opportunity to refresh her styling and cutting skills after years of specialising.

Niquita has already had a great chance to show up her styling skills when asked to work alongside Kevin Murphy himself for his recent show in Brisbane.
